DANIEL SCHOETTMER - FREE CITY KIDS DIRECTOR, CONNECTIONS
Daniel grew up in Troy, Ohio. As things late in high school got tough, he found a refuge in a soccer teammate’s family. It was that friend and that family that first introduced him to Jesus.
While at Purdue University, Daniel served with Cru’s campus ministry. It was there that a vision started to develop for spending his life introducing students to Jesus, rooting them in their faith, and sending them to reach their friends and families.
After college, Daniel spent time as an elementary school literacy specialist, a missionary in Greece, and a grad student at Baylor University before making his home in Lawrence in 2015.
After four years working with college students at the University of Kansas, Daniel joined staff at Free City in 2019.
