Women’s Ministry at Free City
The primary means for discipleship of the women at Free City happens through City Groups and LTGs. Bible studies, events, and retreats offered are supplementary to these spaces because we believe true discipleship flows out of being a part of a consistent life-changing, gospel-centered community that follows Jesus on mission together.
SINGLE WOMEN’S RETREAT
Never married, divorced, or widowed—singles can sometimes question where they fit into the church body.
The Single Women’s Retreat is a unique opportunity to get time away with the Lord and to connect with other single women in talking through the joys and challenges of following Jesus as a single person.
Women can expect time alone with God, hearing testimonies from singles who have trusted God in this season of their life, and space to build relationships and encourage one another.
The Free City Single Women’s Retreat will take place from Friday, September 11 - Sunday, September 13 in Osage Beach, MO (specific address and directions to retreat home will be sent later).
This retreat is offered exclusively for post-college aged (23+) single women who attend Free City Church. Women can apply for a spot at the retreat by filling out the form below. Limited to 12 spots and offered at a first come, first serve basis while spots last.
After your spot is confirmed, payment will be due on September 8.
Cost: $50 (includes housing, snacks, Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Sunday brunch).

WOMEN’S FALL 2026 BOOK STUDY
This fall, Free City Women are invited to join a Bible Study. They will be studying 1-3 John using the study Knowing and Believing God’s Love by Phylicia Masonheimer.
Three meeting times will be offered:
Sunday evenings from 7-8:30pm at a leader’s home
Wednesday mornings from 9-10:30am (childcare available) at 1000 Kentucky Street
Friday mornings from 6:30-7:30am at a leader’s home
Books will cost $20 and be available before the first meeting. Each group will meet 9 weeks starting September 20, 23 and 25 respectively. To sign-up for a Women’s Bible Study group, click the button below.
