CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES:

1. KIDS & VBS DIRECTOR

The KIDS and VBS Director is a director-level position that champions the vision, mission and values of Free City Church.  They are responsible for the disciple making process of all kids (baby-5th grade) at Free City Church.  This includes strategy, structure, leader training/recruitment and implementations. The KIDS & VBS Director also oversees all aspects of Vacation Bible School (VBS) including curriculum planning, scheduling, volunteer training/recruitment, parent communication, budgeting and implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • KIDS— Develop necessary structure, systems, leader recruiting, training and ongoing equipping for all Kids related discipleship. In addition, they serve as parent outreach and support liaison and provide leadership and supervision to all KIDS leaders, both volunteer and paid.

  • VBS— Facilitate, organize and administer all aspects of VBS, from planning, training, delegating, and executing.

  • Staff Team— As a member of the Staff Leadership Team, this position includes having an active role in staff meetings and working closely with staff and elders to problem solve, strategize, and offer Biblical and helpful support to all aspects of ministry at Free City.

  • Agreement with the theology, ministry philosophy, vision, mission and values of Free

    City Church.

Expectations and Compensation:

  • Work: Part-time (18-20 hrs/week) which includes Sundays (5 hrs.), Staff Meeting (2-3 hrs.) Administration (Schedule/Recruit/Train) (4 hrs.), Curriculum Planning (3 hrs.), Supply Preparation (2 hrs.), VBS (1-3hrs.)
